The list of her life

1. I am a mother, a wife, a lover, a sister, an aunt, a daughter and a friend (now a Blog Co-Author – woohoo!).
2. I like being alone.
3. I’m a good friend.
4. I don’t tell people what they want to hear; I tell them what they need to hear.
5. I like looking at things from all different angles before making a decision.
6. I love thunderstorms.
7. I can be impatient; but I have the patience of a saint.
8. I enjoy looking nice.
9. I love dressing up.
10. I like getting compliments and am learning to say thank you; rather than dismiss them.
11. I love relaxing in flannel pj’s.
12. I notice details others miss.
13. I have been married once.
14. Should my marriage fail – I will never marry again.
15. I was in a long term relationship, prior to my marriage, that ended badly.
16. I am not proud of everything I’ve done; but live with and take responsibility for everything in my life.
17. I enjoy spending time with family.

19. I can cry easily when caught off guard – both for joy and for sadness.
20. I’m curious about kinky sex but shy about asking to try different things.
21. I am willing to try almost anything in bed.  As long as it doesn’t involve pain or bodily functions.

33. I smoke cigarettes – and do not want to quit – but also do not NEED to smoke.
34. I have never tried hard core drugs – pot is as hard as I’ve tried.
35. I have no interest in trying hard core drugs like heroine, coke, etc.

37. I am healthy and take care of myself – even though I am not a size 2.
38. I love sex and everything about sex.
39. I love eye contact.
40. I enjoy learning – on my terms – not through school.
41. I never really enjoyed school, although I did well.
42. I’m a neat freak most of the time and a slob sometimes.
43. Housework eases my stress.  I clean when I am stressed.

45. I love the sun, but will normally sit in the shade.

47. I have a deep respect and love for my husband, even though we are not compatible.

89. I didn’t grow up celebrating Christmas, so it was a big adjustment to the concept of Santa Clause when I had children.

92. I like my home to look “lived in” and cozy rather than museumish.
93. I love cooking but never seem to have the time to do so
94. I miss being single – even though I hated being single.
95. I like a clean shaven man.
96. I would like to learn to play a musical instrument.
97. I do not believe in the “traditional” God but believe there are powers all around us that we can tap into.
98. I don’t share my view of those powers with anyone – when I have they look at me as though I’m insane.

100. I love the sound of my children’s laughter.
101. It’s important to me that when I wake my children in the morning I do so gently and that the first thing we do is laugh together.
102. I pretend not to be afraid of the dark for the sake of my kids; but I am a little afraid of darkness.
103. I love long walks – anywhere.
104. I have had one-night stands and hate how they made me feel.
105. I hate how the media creates fear of everything.
106. I wish everyone would think for themselves rather than buying into what the media says is “right”
107. I’m happy Obama won.
108. I love Eggs Benedict – they are my ultimate comfort food.

112. I used to feel too deeply so I had to put an imaginary energy field around my heart. I turn the field on when I think I’m going to feel something too much.

114. I have to have a cup of coffee as soon as I wake up.
115. I don’t take my coffee the same way every time – I like to mix it up; sometimes black, sometimes cream only, sometimes lots of cream and sugar.
116. I have lost faith in romance but secretly long for it.
